Who am I?

André Silva

PhD Student at KTH Royal Institute of Technology. Co-founder at Codeset.

I work mostly on ML on code. My PhD topic is around latent programs: we search and optimize programs in latent spaces. Read my latest paper on this called Gradient-Based Program Repair: Fixing Bugs in Continuous Program Spaces.

Other than that, I have developed supervised and self-supervised LLM fine-tuning approaches for program repair, developed executable code benchmarks, evaluated the latest frontier models, and developed a tool to collect executable code datasets.

I am also a recipient of a Google PhD Fellowship.
